The metals we cover.
Copper, aluminium, ferrous and alloy scrap, and the refined cathode, ingot, billet and rod it feeds. Select a product for its grades and specifications.
The copper chain
Copper is refined once and then used indefinitely. Everything after the cathode is shape-changing, which is why scrap and primary metal compete for the same furnaces.
Ore & concentrate
Trade consultingSulphide and oxide ore mined and concentrated to roughly 25–30% copper.
ConcentrateSmelting
Trade consultingConcentrate smelted and converted to blister copper, then cast as anode.
BlisterAnodeElectrorefining
Trade consultingAnodes refined electrolytically to cathode at 99.99% Cu — the point the metal becomes exchange-deliverable.
Cathode — LME Grade AMelting & casting
Trade consultingCathode melted and continuously cast into the semi-finished form the fabricator needs.
8mm rodBilletCake / slabFabrication
Trade consultingDrawn, extruded or rolled into finished semis.

Where it goes
The forms we trade, the industries that consume them, and what they become.
Copper rod — Cu-ETP 8mm
Drawn down to conductor: power and data cable, building wire, vehicle harness, and magnet wire for motors and transformers.
Copper billet
Extruded to tube and bar — plumbing, air-conditioning and refrigeration line sets, heat exchangers, bar stock and profile.
Cake & slab
Rolled to sheet, strip and foil — busbar, roofing and cladding, heat exchangers and circuit-board foil.
Cathode, traded as refined metal
Sold directly as refined feed to rod and brass mills, or held and financed as exchange-deliverable metal.
Scrap re-enters by grade, not by default. Millberry can go straight to the rod mill; Birch/Cliff and lower grades return to the secondary smelter to be refined back to cathode.
The aluminium chain
Aluminium is expensive to make and cheap to remake. Roughly four tonnes of bauxite yields two of alumina and one of metal — while recycling the same tonne takes around five percent of the energy.
Bauxite

BauxiteAlumina
Not our stepThe Bayer process refines bauxite into alumina.
AluminaSmelting
Not our stepHall–Héroult electrolysis reduces alumina to primary metal — the energy-intensive step.

Where it goes
The forms we trade, the industries that consume them, and what they become.
Extrusion billet — 6063 / 6061 / 6082
Extruded to window and curtain-wall systems, structural profile, automotive crash structures, and heat sinks.
Remelt ingot, T-bar & sow — P1020A
Remelted for casting alloys and die-cast automotive components, and used as alloying feed.
Rolling slab
Rolled to sheet, plate and foil — can body and end stock, automotive body sheet, litho plate and household foil.
EC-grade rod — 1350
Drawn to conductor for overhead line and ACSR, and to cable where weight matters more than conductivity.
Used beverage cans return to can sheet in a genuine closed loop. Clean 6063 extrusion scrap returns to billet; mixed and coated scrap drops to casting alloys instead.
Copper & Aluminium Chain
The copper chain end to end, from ore and concentrate through anode, cathode and rod to drawn wire, and primary aluminium as ingot, billet, rod and alloy. We consult across these rather than hold them: counterparties qualified, specification agreed between the parties, and the trade worked through to discharge.
Ferrous Metals
High-volume ferrous scrap supplied to steel mills, foundries and re-rolling plants. Sorted, sized and prepared to mill specification.
Non-Ferrous Metals
Non-ferrous scrap to recognised grade nomenclature, for smelters, refineries and ingot makers. Sorted and analysed to the buyer's requirement.
Special Alloys
Specialty and corrosion-resistant alloy scrap, graded by analysis for stainless mills and alloy refiners.
